Mission Statement

H.O.P.E.E. House will empower women who have suffered through addiction to endure the recovery process and bridge their past into a new lifestyle of sober living – clean and wholesome.

Our Organization

H.O.P.E.E. is an acronym for Helping Other People Endure by Empowerment and is pronounced as “hope”. Reinforcing “hope” is one of the stabilizers for successful recovery and is the primary focus of a short term residency at H.O.P.E.E. House. There is a weekly rent fee and the length of stay is deemed short term ranging from 6 months to 1 year. H.O.P.E.E. House is a transitional living residence for adult women discharged from inpatient rehabilitation with a minimum of 15-30 days clean time. Each woman must have a sincere desire to remain clean and a willingness to work a program toward regaining a wholesome lifestyle.

Our goal is to provide temporary living in a structured, smoke free, substance free, safe environment. We will render goal supportive services consisting of empowerment counseling, mentoring by faith oriented community women, and adult living education. Staff of H.O.P.E.E. House will assist each woman with focusing on her recovery and gaining a new way of life. Each woman will be given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to build a rich and full life … abstinence is just the beginning. Healthy and continuous sobriety requires many significant changes.

In an atmosphere of love and acceptance, the disease of addiction will begin to lose grip on a woman’s life; and, freedom with a feeling of wholeness begins to transform the perception of self. During residency at H.O.P.E.E. House we will lovingly break through the barriers which keep the women feeling alone and isolated. Thus, she will return to the community living life with a new purpose – empowered. Each woman will begin to develop the tools necessary to continue her journey through recovery and a new lifestyle by implementing a 12 Step Program and the use of support groups.
